Chemena Kamali's Summer-Inspired Masterpiece for Chloé Spring 2025
Share
Few design debuts in the past decade have been as celebrated as Chemena Kamali’s at Chloé. Kamali’s sophomore collection, unveiled yesterday in Paris, reaffirmed that Chloé’s ethereal, distinctly bohemian spirit has returned. She presented a romantic, exquisite collection that matched the brilliance of her first.
Inspired by the sensuality and lightness of summer, models seemed to float down the runway adorned in florals, lace, bubble hems, and more. Rooted in Chloé’s distinct heritage, Kamali infused elements of 70s fashion, including iconic 1970s Chloé bloomers, into the collection, making it uniquely her own.
Lingerie-inspired garments are seamlessly woven throughout, all in a soft summer palette of apricot, baby blue, lavender, butter yellow, and more. Floral prints of roses and peonies, reworked from a hand-painted piece dating back to 1977, add a touch of vintage charm.
The bags in this collection also evoke a summer essence. The Chloé Camera Bag, introduced in Kamali’s debut, reappears adorned with treasures that complement the collection. New additions include a bucket bag embellished with gold seashell details and pearls, along with summer-ready crochet hobos, raffia bracelet bags, and shell-adorned leather bags and minaudières.
